Professional Experience

Sam is a member of the Cushman & Wakefield’s National Hospitality Capital Markets team specializing in acquisition, disposition and advisory services.  He focuses on Hotel properties in a wide geographic area including Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee.

Sam was a part of the Cushman & Wakefield team from 1982 to 1993 and returned in 2011, bringing 18 years of capital markets and financial expertise to complement his foundational commercial real estate expertise. This unique combination of market perspectives – understanding both the operational and financial sides of commercial real estate – enables him to provide clients with comprehensive investment insights and strategic guidance that bridges the gap between property fundamentals and capital market dynamics.

Sam received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from the University of North Carolina. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and earned the Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) designation.
